02 Bold Promise

You shouldn't have to choose between depth and engagement. And you shouldn't have to lead alone.

Theological Safety
Customer Benefit
We hold a clear, consistent doctrinal standard pastors can trust. A pastor never has to worry about what is being taught in the youth room.
Why It Matters
Leaders teach with confidence. Parents trust what's being taught in the room. Senior pastors have confidence in the youth room because the youth pastor and lay leaders are equipped with a clear, comprehensive plan.
How We Deliver
Multi-year scope and sequence rooted in clear doctrinal alignment. Lessons are hand-written by experienced ministry writers, never AI-generated. Each one has defined theological outcomes, Scripture-centered teaching, and reporting tools that make discipleship progress visible.
Simple, Effective Systems
Customer Benefit
A comprehensive discipleship strategy, plus the turn-key lessons, planning tools, and volunteer-ready leader guides to execute it well.
Why It Matters
Leaders are time-starved. They gain back their time and their margin. Volunteers feel equipped. Burnout becomes preventable instead of inevitable.
How We Deliver
Ready-to-teach lessons with discussion guides and practical next steps. Annual planning tools that map the entire ministry year. Volunteer leader guides that equip a small group leader to lead with confidence. Parent connection tools that extend discipleship into the home.
Human Coaching & Partnership
Customer Benefit
You get a dedicated, donor-funded Youth Ministry Coach with your subscription. Not a vendor. A friend in your corner who has your best interest in mind.
Why It Matters
Leadership in ministry is lonely. It matters to have someone in your corner who is not tangled up in your situation. An outside voice with your best interest in mind makes sustainable, multi-year leadership possible.
How We Deliver
Your coach calls, meets you one-on-one, trains your team, and runs regular check-ins and ministry assessments. They also help you implement any Word of Life tools you use. The partnership is not tied to the subscription. It is a standalone benefit that becomes more powerful with one.
Interlude
Word of Life Local Church Ministries
"Curriculum drives revenue. Coaching is the relationship. Gospel events drive awareness. The coach is the front door for all three."
03 Strategic Pivot

A marketing system that points to the coach.

We help churches build deep and engaging youth ministries. The work itself does not change. The way we reach churches does. For decades our missionary coaches have been our entire marketing engine. Relational, slow, hard to scale. This year we build the marketing system that nurtures churches into a coach conversation, so coaches spend their time on the partnerships only they can drive.

05 The People

Three people are in every church purchase decision. We market to all three.

Paul is our champion. Jim is our gatekeeper. Sarah is our end user. Each one needs a different door, and each one walks the same six-stage journey in their own voice.

Portrait of Paul, a youth pastor in his thirties.
Persona A · Champion
Paul

The Youth Pastor.

Bi-vocational, overwhelmed, prepping lessons on Saturday night while his family waits. Primary drivers: simplicity and effectiveness. He needs a system, not more content.

"Lost a small group leader last spring. I've got four left. I can't lose another one."
Paul, on the volunteer crisis
Status quo

Alternative

The hook
"Get your Saturday nights back."
Portrait of Jim, a senior pastor in his fifties.
Persona B · Gatekeeper
Jim

The Senior Pastor.

Risk-averse gatekeeper. Has signed off on three curricula in eight years. Two are in the closet. Primary drivers: trust and transparency. He needs visibility without micromanaging.

"Two youth pastors in five years. Every transition is another year of kids slipping through the cracks."
Jim, on staff turnover
Status quo
The Black Box.
Alternative
Buy a bigger curriculum every couple years. Closet stack.
The hook
"A plan that survives the next staff transition."
Portrait of Sarah, a small-group volunteer leader.
Persona C · End User
Sarah

The Volunteer Leader.

Small-group leader. Mom of two. Showed up because nobody else would. Primary drivers: equipping and encouragement. Adoption and retention hinge on her confidence.

"A girl asked me why God lets bad things happen to kids. I mumbled something about Job and changed the subject."
Sarah, on a Wednesday night
Status quo
Said yes. Doesn't know what's next.
Alternative
YouTube searches that lead nowhere.
The hook
"You don't have to be a Bible scholar."
06 Strategic Journey

Paul leads it. Jim approves it. Sarah supports it in small groups.

Each one walks through the same six stages from Status Quo to Decision, in their own voice. Paul's journey centers on curriculum, time, and the volunteer team. Jim's centers on confident leadership and a plan he can sign off on. Sarah's centers on equipping and not feeling alone.

Champion Paul Youth Pastor
I lead Sunday nights. I pull lessons from a few different places to keep it together. Five volunteers help with small groups after I teach. We hold it together on coffee, prayer, and group texts.
It is Thursday and I am still pulling Sunday together. I want my pastor, the parents, and the students to see a ministry that has it together. I lost a leader last spring who said she could not keep showing up unprepared. I cannot keep running like this.
Tried piecing it together. Curriculum from one place, free training videos from another, podcasts on the drive in. Nothing connects. There is no real system. Just more tabs open.
Claimed the Free Month of Multiply Curriculum, a full four-week module ready to teach Sunday. Dug into the Multiply U module too. It was comprehensive and strategy-first, not just curriculum. It felt like an actual discipleship plan, not a content drop.
Met the Youth Ministry Coach at a local Word of Life gospel event. We spent an hour together. He asked about my ministry before he asked about a subscription. These are genuine people who want to be a strategic partner, not sell me curriculum.
I am in. They have a solid plan, real tools, and a coach who is already in my corner. I have what I need to lead, and I am not doing it alone.
Gatekeeper Jim Senior Pastor
Paul is a good guy. He pulls his lessons from a few different places. I trust him. Honestly, I do not really know what gets taught in the youth room on a Sunday.
Two youth pastors in five years. Every transition burns a year of momentum. I am responsible for the spiritual health of every age group in this church, and youth is the area I have the least visibility into.
Tried bigger curriculum packages. Theologically thin, financially heavy. None of it survives the next staff transition. We end up back where we started.
Paul put a packet on my desk. Theology map, scope and sequence, what we have spent on curriculum we do not even use anymore. First time he has ever brought me a real plan.
Read their Statement of Faith. Called a peer senior pastor who uses Multiply. He told me their coach has been walking with them for six years. The system stays. The coach stays.
Approved Multiply+. The plan stays with the church, not the staff member. The coach is a missionary, not a vendor. The next youth pastor we hire inherits a working ministry instead of starting from zero.
End User Sarah Volunteer Leader
I lead the 9th grade girls because nobody else stepped up. I love them. I prep the discussion in the car on the way to church.
A girl asked me why God lets bad things happen to kids. I mumbled something about Job and changed the subject. I am not equipped for this. I do not want to keep faking it.
Tried looking things up on YouTube before group. Half of it is lectures I do not understand. The other half is fluff. Nothing actually gets me ready. I do not even know where to start.
Paul sent me a short Multiply U training: how to lead a small group when you are not a Bible scholar. Watched it in the pickup line. It named the exact thing I was afraid of.
Used the discussion prompts in the app this week. Read one out loud when the girls got quiet. The conversation actually went somewhere. I drove home feeling like a leader.
I am in. Using the app every week. Sent the training video to a friend who keeps saying no every time Paul asks her to lead a group. We need more leaders like her.

08 Bowtie Funnel

Every funnel ends at a coach call. Both halves get equal resources.

Awareness, free resources, and a coach call get us a partnership. Activation in the wider Word of Life ecosystem, adoption of the tools that fit, and advocacy are where ministry actually compounds. The coach call is the consistent point of decision.

Acquisition · Stranger → Partner
01 Awareness
Omnichannel Presence

Search, Meta ads, conferences, gospel events, the Stacking Chairs podcast, and the Multiply blog. Where youth pastors actually look when they need help.

02 Consideration

03 Decision
Coach Call

Every funnel ends here. A no-pressure strategy session with a missionary Youth Ministry Coach. The point of partnership decision.

Partner
Retention · Partner → Advocate
04 Retention
Activation in the Ecosystem

The coach connects the church to camps, missions, and regional LCM events. The partnership grows beyond the subscription.

05 Adoption
Tools That Fit

Churches adopt the Word of Life discipleship philosophy and use the tools that fit their context. For most, that lands at full curriculum.

06 Advocacy
Don't Lead Alone

Churches who built deep youth ministries with us tell other churches. The next acquisition starts inside the partnership.

09 Three Paths to Partnership

Every conversation starts with a coach. The coach is the conduit to every Word of Life resource.

Some churches partner through the full curriculum platform. Others start with coaching and free training and grow into more over time. Others come in through a gospel event and build from there. Once a church is connected to a coach, the coach is the conduit to Bible Institute, camps, missions, regional LCM events, and the full Multiply ecosystem.

Path A
The Scalable Path

15 The Ask

What we need to make this real.

This plan is more than one person can build. It needs cross-functional partnership across approval, resourcing, and IT.

Approve
Three decisions today
  • Deploy "Don't Lead Alone" as the flagship campaign for the upcoming year across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Greenlight the content engine: Stacking Chairs Podcast, the Multiply Blog, the "Don't Lead Alone" weekly newsletter (absorbing the Monday Morning Drip), the Weekly Small Group Starter, and the campaign webinars (monthly lead-gen plus quarterly Partner Labs for retention).
  • Confirm the marketing-system pivot: missionary coaches are the destination of the funnel, not its entire source. Coaches stay central but stop being the sole marketing channel.
Resource
Three commitments
  • Creative and design capacity for campaign creative, the three hero assets, and landing pages.
  • Editorial and content production for podcast scripting, blog cadence, webinar production, and newsletter cadence.
  • Paid marketing budget for Meta and Google plus Energize and Conclave (and other 3rd-party pastor conference) activations.
Partner
Three IT and platform commitments
  • IT support for landing-page experiences that convert, or flexibility on platforms to ship them outside the current stack.
  • Marketing automation so every opt-in routes to a YMC inside 24 hours (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Analytics and tracking for Lead Activation Rate, Coach Call Rate, and Annual Retention Rate, visible to the team weekly.
Bottom line
460 active partners today + 80 new = ~540 by the end of the campaign year.

Approval here starts the plan. Build June 2026. Launch July 2026. Run, retain, and renew through June 2027.
